British Library and Renaissance One presents Caribbean Book Club

Join us for an occasion that celebrates and explores the best and the most resounding in Caribbean literature.  Caribbean Book Club is a forum for sharing your passions for reading and listening to words.  Poet and fiction writer Maggie Harris, actor and director Burt Caesar, and poet and broadcaster Philip Nanton will read poems and fiction by their favourite authors, reveal their memories of engaging with books they have treasured, and open up a discussion with the audience on the wide-ranging works that have emerged from the Caribbean.

Part of London Is The Place For Me Festival 2016.  Curated and produced by Renaissance One as part of The Independence Project, funded by Arts Council England.
