Refugee Tales is a literary and cultural project that campaigns for an end to the indefinite detention of migrants. It promotes solidarity with refugees and detainees through story-telling, lobbying and communal walking.
To be introduced by the co-organiser David Herd (poet, critic and teacher and head of the School of English at Kent University) and featuring readings by celebrated author Patience Agbabi.
Refugee Tales at Christ’s Hospital is a free event to raise awareness and funds for the Gatwick Detainees Welfare Group.
