This year's Lyrical Mehfil promises to be the most eclectic and captivating yet, bringing together a group of wonderfully diverse, internationally respected poets for a feast of verse-making and wordplay.

In the homes and palaces of South Asian nobility, mehfils were gatherings where audiences would be treated to intimate evenings of courtly entertainment. Our annual poetry event is inspired by that tradition, providing a platform for exciting new voices to perform alongside some of the best-loved poets from around the world.

Host Jo Brandon is joined by poets Don Paterson, Mumtaz Ali, Vahni Capildeo, Amir Darwash, Kate Fox, and Kei Miller for a marvellous, unmissable evening of poetry. And with a speacial guest yet to be announced, this truly is an event not to be missed!
