Rada Akbar is an artist, curator and activist from Afghanistan currently living in exile in Paris. Rada’s practice focuses on re-examining history and gender equality in her country through her work in fashion, design and visual art.
She will be appearing in a salon to talk about women, creativity and activism amid the social and political upheaval in Afghanistan. She will also discuss and show clips from her exhibition Abarzanan (Superwomen). This salon is on 19 March and was organised by Nur Shkembi. Details here.
