The Venus Papers:Nottingham - A Poetry-Spoken Word Show

The Venus Papers is a theatrical poetry show of arrivals, departures, landscapes and journeys developed, written and performed by Lydia Towsey. It explores the theme of 21st century women - every-woman, immigrant, traveler, outsider - in a time of social, cultural and political turmoil and change.

It presents performances by local writers from  Mouthy Poets followed by the theatrical poetry show written and performed by Lydia Towsey.

The production team includes the Director Rachel Mars, Associate Director Nick Field, paintings and artwork by Scott Bridgwood, music by Dave Dhonau and Ola Szmidt, curator Melanie Abrahams, design by Kate Unwin, choreography by Louise Katerega, photography by Ambrose Musiyiwa/CivicLeicester and produced by Renaissance One.
