Apples and Snakes at Bloomsbury Festival
A relaxed evening of performance poetry and live music, featuring top names from the spoken word scene alongside some of London’s most talented up-and-coming artists. The night will be headlined by the powerful, political, and personal words of dub legend, Jean “Binta” Breeze, with a feature set from comedian, performer, and resident on-air expert in bereavement and mental health for BBC Radio 1’s Surgery, Jack Rooke. Plus the enriching 'street folk' sounds of music by Lester Clayton. Hosted by stand-up poet and presenter Laurie Bolger.
